(24) Fresno State 21 Wyoming 17
(23) LSU 42 (21) Missouri 31
• Two loss LSU is on the road as a 4 point favorite vs Undefeated Missouri. I love how Brady Cook has played at QB for Missouri and WR Luther Burden III should be able to expose the weak LSU secondary. LSU has looked outstanding on offense led by QB Jayden Daniels and WRs Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. I expect both teams to be able to score but I believe LSU is being overlooked having two losses. LSU is the better team and I believe they win and cover.
(17) Miami 42 Georgia Tech 17
(16) Ole Miss 38 Arkansas 24
(15) Oregon State 27 California 24
• My formula really loves California as a 9.5 point underdog, so much so that I’d be willing to sprinkle the ML here.
(14) UNC 34 Syracuse 21
• The Tar Heels get Tez Walker back after the NCAA granted him eligibility (What a complete disaster, the NCAA sucks). I expect the Tar Heels offense to score and score often. Tar Heels win and cover.
UCLA 35 (13) Washington State 28
• This is a principle of mine. Anytime an unranked team is the favorite over the ranked team the unranked team has won 75-80% of the time the past six years. Last week for example (UK over UF). Everyone is betting on WSU +3 so I’ll trust my principle and formula and pick UCLA to win.
Texas A&M 24 (11) Alabama 20
• My formula likes Texas A&M in this matchup and that scares me with Max Johnson at QB. He’s turnover prone but capable of slinging the ball around to make big plays. I like the fact that A&M is at home and Alabama is more vulnerable as ever this season. For the first time in years Alabama doesn’t have a QB, RB, WR, TE or OL that truly impresses me and I like the weapons A&M has more.
(10) Notre Dame 35 (25) Louisville 24
• My formula likes Louisville to cover but I disagree. I think the Irish are the better team and have played a tougher schedule to get them prepared. I believe Plummer struggles in this one and Estime and the Irish prevail.
(9) USC 56 Arizona 28
• The Trojans played around last week and almost blew a big lead vs Colorado. I don’t expect them to take things lightly this week. Caleb Williams has a big game and the Trojans win by 28.
(5) Florida State 41 Virginia Tech 17
(4) Ohio State 45 Maryland 21
• My formula loves the Buckeyes this week and I believe a big reason why is the Terps schedule to date. Maryland hasn’t played anyone with a pulse and Ohio State has already been tested by Notre Dame. I believe the Buckeyes show their dominance and cover the 20 point spread.
(3) Texas 31 (12) Oklahoma 28
• The Red River Showdown, one of my favorite rivalries in College Football. My formula is divided on this one, some metrics favor the Longhorns and some favor the Sooners. Ultimately I had to make a judgment call on this one and I believe the Longhorns are the better team. Texas wins but Dillon Gabriel and the Sooners cover.
(2) Michigan 31 Minnesota 17
(1) Georgia 34 (20) Kentucky 13
• I picked Kentucky last week to beat Florida and they sure did. This week my formula favors Georgia and I believe the Dawgs want to get off to a good start and impress. I believe Georgia gets off to a hot start and never lets up, Dawgs by 21.
