(23) Nebraska 52 UNI 10
• Nebraska is a solid team with an outstanding D-Line and excellent True Freshman QB in Dylan Raiola, the Cornhuskers keep it rolling and move to 3-0.
(18) Notre Dame 24 Purdue 10
• NIU pulled off the massive upset last week vs the Irish and this is what I call an “Overreaction Game”. 79% of the bets are currently coming in on Purdue +10 and I actually believe the Irish win and cover. Riley Leonard has been a disappointment throwing the ball and he needs to use his legs more for the Irish. Notre Dame still has an elite secondary and I don’t see the Boise being able to pass on them. If Purdue wants to win this game they’ll need to establish the run and possibly get a defensive or special teams TD.
(17) Michigan 31 Arkansas State 7
• Michigan got slaughtered last week at home vs Texas and to be honest I’m not surprised because I had the Longhorns winning and covering that game. The Wolverines have major issues at QB and WR and the Defense can carry them vs a lot of teams but not vs a team like Texas without help from the offense. Michigan needs to get the offense established this week and work on the QB situation.
(16) LSU 27 South Carolina 13
• The Gamecocks D-Line is ELITE but the Tigers have an O-Line that can slow down some of the Gamecocks dominant pass rushers. The reason I’m taking LSU on the road to win and cover is because I simply don’t trust this South Carolina Offense. I know LSU has had problems on Defense the last few years but LaNorris Sellers is young and inexperienced and vulnerable to mistakes. LSU has the better QB, solid WRs and I believe they win by two TDs.
(15) Oklahoma 31 Tulane 16
• Tulane almost pulled off the upset last week vs KSU and the Green Wave are a team you can never overlook. Oklahoma was very underwhelming last week vs Houston and if they play like that this week the Green Wave could get a major upset. Ultimately I trust in the Sooners Defense and young QB Jackson Arnold to get them the win.
(14) KSU 37 (20) Arizona 24
• My formula absolutely LOVES Kansas State this week and even has them covering the 7 point spread. Arizona is dangerous on offense with Noah Fifita and Tetairoa McMillan but overall KSU has the better team and I’m expecting a big performance from Avery Johnson.
(13) Oklahoma State 49 Tulsa 24
• Ollie Gordon II is only available 3.9 yards per carry this season and I’m expecting him to get that straightened out in this game. Gordon II could possibly go for 200 yards 3 TDs and I believe the Cowboys win BIG.
(12) Utah 27 Utah State 13
• Cam Rising will most likely miss this game for the Utes and that’s why I have Utah State keeping it relatively close.
(10) Miami 52 Ball State 7
• Cam Ward and Tyler Baron made my initial Heisman Top 12 with Xavier Restrepo just missing by a few spots. I expect all three to continue playing at a Heisman level especially in this game, Canes win big!!!!
(9) Oregon 38 Oregon State 14
• The Ducks have looked very subpar vs Idaho and Boise State and maybe I’m being foolish thinking they’ll finally put it together this week but I really feel like they do. This team is too talented with elite skill position players to keep playing down to the competition. I know this is a rivalry game and anything can happen but I believe Oregon wins big.
(7) Tennessee 56 Kent State 3
• The Vols could probably score 80 in this game if they wanted. The Defense is playing spectacular and young phenom Nico Iamaleava at QB is a special talent.
(6) Missouri 38 Boston College 17
• Boston College is playing excellent ball right now and this prediction might make me look like a fool after Saturday but my formula absolutely LOVES the Tigers. Brady Cook and Luther Burden III will have big games but the main question mark is can the Mizzou Defense slow down QB Thomas Castellanos.
(5) Ole Miss 49 Wake Forest 17
• Wake Forest lost last week vs UVA and was torn apart by Anthony Colandrea through the air. I imagine Jaxson Dart could throw for 400 yards or more and I expect the Rebels to win this game BIG!!!!!!
(4) Alabama 31 Wisconsin 13
• Tyler Van Dyke hasn’t found the magic he had as a Freshman for Miami and he’s looked subpar in the first two games so I highly doubt he has a huge game vs Alabama even though they have some young DBs. Jalen Milroe is a massive rushing threat and the Badgers front seven isn’t as good as it has been in the past few years so I’m expecting the Crimson Tide to establish the rushing attack in this one. RBs Jam Miller and Justice Haynes could be in line for a big game and I’m expecting Alabama to win and cover ATS.
(2) Texas 49 UTSA 7
• The Roadrunners were blown out by Texas State last week and Texas is one of the best teams in all of CFB, I expect the Longhorns to win BIG vs UTSA.
(1) Georgia 38 Kentucky 6
• The Wildcats O-Line was destroyed by South Carolina and UK QB Brock Vandagriff payed the price for it. The Dawgs D-Line is going to wreak havoc in this game and I don’t expect it to be close at all.
