QBs
Top Plays
Jalen Milroe $10,000
Dillon Gabriel $9,900
Brady Cook $8,500
• You really have to spend up this week for top QBs. Milroe always provides a high floor because of his rushing ability and Alabama will need a big game from his vs Wisconsin. Gabriel and Oregon have a rivalry matchup vs Oregon State and I’m expecting a big game. If you want an elite QB but want to save money then look no further than Brady Cook. The Missouri QB could find himself in a shootout vs a pesky Boston College team.
Best Value Plays
Garrett Greene $7,800
Thomas Castellanos $7,800
Max Brosmer $7,500
• I love this group of QBs because of the price savings and potential. Greene goes up against a Pittsburgh defense that has holes and he provides production on the ground. Castellanos has a high floor because of his rushing abilities and he might have to throw more in this one to keep up with Mizzou. Brosmer will be a low owned contrarian play and his matchup vs Nevada is favorable.
Longshot Plays
• I actually have no good longshot plays at QB this week.
RBs
Top Play
Ollie Gordon II $10,000
• Gordon II has had a rough start only averaging 3.9 yards per carry in two games buy he has a matchup vs Tulsa that he could exploit. Paying 10K makes filling out your lineup tough but Gordon II could have a monumental game here.
Best Value Plays
Jonah Coleman $6,800
Desmond Reid $6,400
Darius Taylor $6,200
Mario Anderson $6,200
Jahiem White $6,000
Jeremiyah Love $5,700
• I really think a healthy Darius Taylor at 6.2K vs Nevada might be the best play on the slate and I’ll have plenty shares of him. Anderson is the RB1 for Memphis and goes up against a FSU Defense that was shredded vs Boston College. If I don’t play any Pitt WRs then playing RB Desmond Reid will be a must at 6.4K.
Longshot Play
Jovantae Barnes $5,100
• If you’re looking to save money at RB then play Barnes. He will get touches and is capable of getting a TD.
WR/TE
Top Plays
Luther Burden III $9,000
Tez Johnson $8,500
Kyren Lacy $8,400
Deion Burks $8,000
• Burden III and Johnson are elite plays this week and I’d be willing to pay up for both. Lacy is capable of a big game if Garrett Nussmeier actually has time to throw, the Gamecocks D-Line is elite.
Best Value Plays
Brennan Presley $7,100
Konata Mumpfield $6,000
Will Pauling $5,100
• Mumpfield is capable of big DFS performances and he had 32.3 points last week. Pauling will be a low owned contrarian play and I’ll be honest I actually like his matchup vs Alabama. The Crimson Tide Secondary isn’t elite by any means and USF had opportunities last week if Byrum Brown could’ve made the throws.
Longshot Plays
Kenny Johnson $4,500
Bryson Green $4,500
Traylon Ray $4,200
Gavin Bartholomew $3,800
Nyck Harbor $3,500
• Like I’ve mentioned I like the Pitt/WVU matchup fantasy wise so Johnson, Ray and Bartholomew are good low priced plays. If you don’t play Pauling at WR for Wisconsin then play Green, he’s a really good receiver and you save salary. Harbor literally has 0 catches this season in 2 games but at 3.5K I’m willing to take a chance that I catch his “Breakout” performance before everyone else does.
