USF Football: Packed Schedule of Night Games Announced!

USF football fans are getting their fill of night games this season. Of the five night kickoffs confirmed, only one will be a Saturday home game.

The American Athletic Conference, in collaboration with TV networks, released the schedule times. Not all kickoff times are set yet. Networks will decide others during the season based on the best matchups. The conference follows a 12-day selection process to determine these times.

The Bulls’ season opener on August 31 kicks off at 7 p.m. against Bethune-Cookman. This game will be available on ESPN+. USF will also face Alabama on September 7 at 7 p.m. on ESPN. Southern Miss hosts USF on September 14, with a 7 p.m. start on ESPN+.

Two Friday night games spice up the calendar. USF will meet Memphis on October 11 at 7 p.m. on ESPN and face Florida Atlantic on November 1 at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2.

A potential third Friday game is looming. USF could play Rice on November 29 at noon on Black Friday or the game could move to November 30. The final decision on the scheduling will come by October 14. Three games are considered for that time slot: Bulls-Owls, Navy-East Carolina, or UAB-Charlotte.

The AAC title game is on December 6 with an 8 p.m. kickoff.

The remaining games on the schedule have undetermined times. USF will host Miami on September 21 and play at Tulane on September 28. They will have their homecoming game against UAB on October 19. Navy visits on November 9, and the Bulls travel to Charlotte on November 16. Tulsa arrives on November 23.

Fans should stay tuned for these announcements as the season progresses.

USF supporters have plenty to look forward to in prime time. The night games on ESPN and ESPN+ offer plenty of exposure. The Bulls are set to showcase their talent under the lights.
