Caleb Williams $9,900
AJ Swann $8,500
• Williams the 2022 Heisman Trophy Winner is the clear Alpha Dog on this slate. USC has a great matchup vs a San Jose State team who themselves might be able to put up some points. $9,900 isn’t a highly expensive price like we can normally see so Williams might be highly owned but he’s well worth it. AJ Swann had an excellent True Freshman season last year and he opens up vs a Hawaii team that should be really bad. $8,500 isn’t too high of a price and you could actually play both of these QBs in your lineup this week.

Jalen Mayden $5,900
• Pavia is one of my favorite plays on the slate. Last season he carried NMSU and really impressed. He has an excellent matchup vs UMass where I could see him getting 30+ points. Mayden averaged 20.4 FPPG (Fantasy Points Per Game) last season and he has a matchup vs Ohio that could be high scoring.
Longshots
Hank Bachmeier $5,800
Taisun Phommachanh $4,800
• Bachmeier transfers in from Boise State. He’s not an exciting QB but faces a Defense in FIU where he could have a good outing. Phommachanh isn’t 100% the starter, he could split reps with Carlos Davis but at $4,800 if he can get you 15-20 points you’ve done well.
Contrarian Play
Chevan Cordeiro $6,300
• Cordeiro will be low owned in my opinion but I expect him to throw a lot as USC should have a commanding lead. Last season he averaged 26.3 FPPG and if he’s less than 10% owned and gets you 25 points you’ve made an excellent pick.
RBs
Top Plays
Austin Jones $7,800
Marshawn Lloyd $7,400
Sieh Bangura $7,200
• The two USC RBs Jones and Lloyd have an excellent matchup and both should be in line for a TD. Bangura was one of the most underrated RBs in CFB last season and he averaged 21.5 FPPG.

Patrick Smith $5,100
• Lawrence and Smith both have matchups I love and both have affordable prices. Smith goes up against Hawaii and I expect him and Vanderbilt to have a field day on Offense.
Longshots
Tylan Hines $4,700
Kayron Adams $4,500
• With these plays you get a RB1 for less than 5K. I don’t expect either to be highly owned.
Contrarian Play
Kairee Robinson $5,900
• I’m going back to the well and using another SJSU player for my contrarian play. I don’t see Robinson being highly owned and it’s a good chance he falls into the endzone vs USC. I believe he will also need to catch some passes out of the backfield and should have a relatively decent day in DFS.

Sam Wiglusz $7,100
• Singer Transfers in from Arizona and I believe he could have a Heisman Type season playing with Caleb Williams. Mario Williams is projected to be WR2 for USC and has an excellent matchup vs SJSU. Sam Wiglusz averaged 16.9 FPPG last season and he’s WR1 for the Ohio Bobcats. The matchup is questionable vs SDSU but Wiglusz will get plenty of opportunities.

• David has an outstanding matchup vs UMass and will be Diego Pavias go to target. Pope and Johnson III play NMSU and I’ve heard great things about Johnson III.

• Cross will be low owned but has upside. Last season he averaged 10.5 FPPG but has upside to get 15+.
