Super Bowl Recipes You May Want To Make

by Shayler

Below are three items that will be hits at your Super Bowl party. The three items are Pico De Gallo, Marshmallow Fruit Dip, and Oreo Dirt Pie and a collection of some of my favorite quick and easy recipes that I found online.

Pico De Gallo

Ingredients:
5 roma tomatoes, diced finely
1/2 red onion, diced finely
1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped finely
1/2 bunch of cilantro, chopped finely
4 garlic gloves, minced
1/2 lime, juiced
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions: I usually make it and put in the fridge a few hours before making it

Put together the cilantro, diced tomatoes, garlic, jalapeno, and red onion in a bowl. Add the juice of the lime and add salt and pepper to taste.

Marshmallow Fruit Dip

Ingredients

7 ounces marshmallow crème

8 ounces cream cheese , softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions: I like to use a whole variety of fruits to dip in. Can be stored in fridge up to a week.
1. In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer to beat together cream cheese, marshmallow crème, and vanilla extract until well combined and creamy, about 2 to 3 minutes. Serve immediately

Oreo Dirt Pie

Ingredients
1 box of chocolate fudge cake mix (also the ingredients on the box)
1 pack of oreos (I prefer double stuffed)
1 jar of hot fudge (12.8 oz)
3 total cups of milk
6.8 oz of chocolate instant pudding (not I usually get two 3.4 boxes to make it easier)
1 container of cool whip

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F
Bake the cake mix according to the box
Let cool for 20 minutes, while the cake is still warm poke holes it in with round object.
Heat up the jar of hot fudge and pour it all out on top of the cake.
Let the cake cool.
Now for the pudding layer:
Mix the 1 box of the 3.4 oz instant pudding with 1.75 cups of milk and pour on top the cake.
Now mix the last box of pudding and put into fridge to settle.
Now crush up the oreos (I use a bag and roll over them with a rolling pin)
Blend the Oreos, cool whip, and the set pudding and lay it on top of the cake.
If you have any fudge or Oreos left, put it on the top of your cake mixture.
It is better if served while it is cold.
