  • Tall in the pocket
  • Confident passer between the tackles
  • Can scramble when needed
  • Arm strength to drop deep balls in with plenty of air
  • Trusts his wide receivers and tight ends to make plays

  • Sometimes forces targets to work for catches
  • Target locks occasionally
  • Can stay in the pocket too long
  • Has trouble against some zone looks

From our College football expert, Kevin Fielder (@TheKevinFielder), “Jordan Love is a quarterback that has an NFL quality arm but needs work when it comes to making the proper decisions and needs to add consistency with his timing. He’s relatively raw, but in the right system can succeed because of his physical gifts.”

Why he fits in with the Green Bay Packers.

He will not be the first year starter, but gets to learn under Aaron Rodgers. I think he can be a second- or third-year starter with the Pack. He will be able to connect with his wide receivers such as Davante Adams and Allen Lazard. I think his offensive line will be able to protect him and the wide receivers will be able to catch the ball (over 12 dropped passes in 2019 at Utah State). I expect big things to come out of Love and hope to see him do great with the Green Bay Packers.
