Kentucky is considered the early favorite for quarterback Gavin Wimsatt. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect already has offers from the likes of Louisville, West Virginia, Nebraska and Virginia Tech.

Before we share the interview, we would like to take a moment to thank Mr. Wimsatt for both his time and thoughtful answers. He has been skyrocketing up the prep rankings and assuredly has many local requests on his time. Hailing from Owensboro, the home state star is a focal point for the Wildcats, Cardinals and Western Kentucky.

A 2022 prospect, Wimsatt is a 4-star dual-threat quarterback and top-50 national prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
