Today, we begin a new series at Fifth Quarter to get you up to speed on the latest in male fashion.

That fashion would be pertaining to college football uniforms and helmets. As collegiate programs try to impress recruits, unique uniforms are making their debuts weekly.

At Fifth Quarter, we want you to be able to catch them all in one spot. At the bottom, leave us a comment about which one is your favorite, or come talk about it in our forum.

This post will be updated as needed.

Texas Tech Throwbacks

Tennessee Dark Mode

With it being October, it seems perfectly fitting for Tennessee to bring out some updated black uniforms. Remember in 2009 when the Volunteers tried it, and it was a crowd favorite?

The 2021 version is absolutely smooth, and getting a lot of attention. If it’s not the school’s colors, black uniforms tend to miss more than they hit, but this definitely works for Tennessee.

Florida Homecoming

For homecoming this weekend, the Gators are throwing it back all the way to the 1970’s. Florida has always been really good about honoring the past when homecoming week comes.

Utah All White Throwbacks

Many Utah fans think this should be the default uniforms. It’s hard to disagree.

Troy “State” Trojans

You may know them as the Troy Trojans, but old heads remember the name Troy State. For the first time since 2003, the Troy State logo is making its way back to the gridiron.

BYU Navy Rush

Everyone loves the BYU royal blue combo, but this “Navy Rush” combination is absolutely clean. Traditionalists for BYU football unanimously prefer white helmets, but recruits have to like this combination.

At the end of the day, it is about winning and what recruits wants. The uniform craze will probably never end, as it is an easy way to appease and target talented teenagers.

Who do you think has the best new fit for Week 6?
