Razorbacks Pick Up Mizzou DE Transfer

Sunday night, Missouri transfer Trajan Jeffcoat announced that he was committed to Arkansas and Coach Deke Adams, after entering the portal on January 9. Jeffcoat, 6’4 269lbs, plays defensive end and has started 29 games in the last three seasons. He comes to Arkansas with one year of eligibility.

Trajan Jeffcoat was named first-team All-SEC as a redshirt sophomore in 2020 after recording 23 tackles, 6 sacks, 7 quarterback hurries, and a fumble. He started every game the next season, picking up 34 tackles, 23 solo, 10 for loss, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery for a touchdown. In 2022, he played in every game, starting in 10. He made 21 total tackles, 2.5 for loss, and one sack.

Before Missouri, Jeffcoat was a Rivals 3-star and 247Sports 2-star prospect from Irmo High School in Columbia, South Carolina. He becomes the fifth defensive transfer to join the Razorbacks, alongside OLB John Morgan, LB Antonio Grier, CB Lorando “Snaxx” Johnson, and S Alfahiym Walcott.
