When we talk about great high school programs in the Northeast, it starts and stops with Saint Thomas More Prep in Oakdale, Conn.
Over the years, Saint Thomas More has produced studs on both sides of the ball. That’s again true and a key player for the defense is linebacker Adam Pearlstein (@adam_pearlstein).
A 6-foot-2, 225-pound wrecking ball in the middle of the defense, Pearlstein is violent tackler. With great hips and natural athleticism, this guy can flat out play the position.
“Adam is an instinctual linebacker who is almost flawless at making reads and adjustments,” said Lou Perrone of the recruiting service, “My Recruits”. “He has the athleticism to come off the edge, get into coverage and destroy the run game. That’s a rare combination.”
Coaches at Division I level across the Pioneer, Patriot, and Ivy Leagues are all heavily interested in Pearlstein. Nevertheless, don’t be surprised if he cracks the ACC or Big Ten.
