Gernorris Wilson, OT Commit 2023
Oregon commit Gernorris Wilson (OT, Lakeland) is set to take on 5-Star Damon Wilson (EDGE, Venice) in the Florida 4S State Championship. Lakeland played Venice in their spring game earlier this year but the transfers from Lake Gibson to Lakeland (Gernorris Wilson, Cormani McClain, & Brayshon Williams), who all have Oregon offers, were not available to play. Wilson obtained 3 tackles and no sacks in that game, this time he will be lined up against the 3-Star OT who recently committed to the Ducks.

It should be an interesting watch to show everyone how much potential Wilson really has at the next level. In his last game he noted beforehand he would get multiple pancakes for the State Semis and he did with myself and Klemm among others on the sidelines. Can’t wait to see what he shows us this weekend.
Brayshon Williams, 2024 DB Target
Along with Wilson, Oregon had extended offers to Tyler Williams (UGA Commit), Cormani McClain (Miami commit), and Brayshon Williams who is an uncommitted DB in the class of 2024. Williams has played mostly safety this year and has preformed well when tested. Lakeland has a deep DB room with more than a few P5 Defensive Backs on it. Once Cormani departs to Miami we should expect Brayshon to take an even bigger role in the defense.
Oregon offered Brayshon Williams when he was at Lake Gibson and has continued to pursue him since his transfer to the Florida HS juggernaut. Oregon OL coach Adrian Klemm has been to many Lakeland games and is looking to develop a pipeline from the highly talent laden state to Eugene.
