This past weekend’s Cup Series doubleheader in Pocono shows why there hasn’t been any change yet among the top two in our weekly power rankings. Denny Hamlin and Kevin Harvick have been dominating the rankings like they have the circuit.

After finishing second in the Pocono Organics 325 on Saturday, Hamlin won the Pocono 350 on Sunday. Harvick followed up his victory on Saturday with a second-place finish on Sunday.

In this week’s power rankings however, there were some changes. Here’s a look at the top 10 Cup Series drivers as it currently stands:

10. Aric Almirola

Wins: 0
Top 5: 4
Last Week: N/R
Overview: The Tampa native is on a bit of a hot streak, notching four consecutive top-5 finishes over the last four races with finishes of P5, P3, P3, and P5. He’s also currently ninth in the Playoff Points standings.

9. Kyle Busch

Wins: 0
Top 5: 7
Last Week: No. 10
Overview: Kyle Busch showed why Pocono has been his favorite track of late Saturday, securing another top-5 finish, only to be wrecked out of the race by Ryan Blaney on Sunday while running in first.

8. Joey Logano

Wins: 2
Top 5: 3
Last Week: No. 5
Overview: Logano took a major step back, finishing 36th in Saturday’s race at Pocono. Sunday was more of the same when he finished in 24th.

7. Martin Truex Jr.

Wins: 1
Top 5: 2
Last week: No. 7
Overview: Truex turned in a solid race Saturday, finishing just outside of the top 5, in sixth. MTJ did however, turn in a top-10 finish on Sunday.

6. Brad Keselowski

Wins: 2
Top 5: 5
Last week: No. 3
Overview: Brad Keselowski is tied with teammate Joey Logano in wins this season (2), two wins behind the pace set by Denny Hamlin. He secured another top-10 finish Saturday, coming in P9. Keselowski turned in an OK race in Sunday’s Pocono 350, coming across the line in 11th. Keselowski and Logano each fell three spots this week.

5. Alex Bowman

Wins: 1
Top 5: 2
Last Week: No. 6
Overview: Bowman disappointed Saturday, finishing P27. He turned it around the next day though, finishing in ninth.

4. Ryan Blaney

Wins: 1
Top 5: 7
Last Week: No. 4
Overview: Blaney finished middle of the pack Saturday, coming in 12th. He looked as though he was making a run late Sunday, but to no avail, finishing P22.

3. Chase Elliott

Wins: 1
Top 5: 7
Last Week: No. 7
Overview: Finishing P25 Saturday afternoon, Chase Elliott didn’t help his case for top 5 in the power rankings. Elliott got back on track Sunday (pun intended) with a P4 finish. His four-spot jump is the largest in this week’s rankings.

2. Kevin Harvick

Wins: 3
Top 5: 8
Last Week: No. 2
Overview: Harvick notched his third win of the season in Saturday’s Pocono Organics 325, tying Hamlin for most wins on the 2020 NASCAR season. Hamlin finished second. Harvick followed that up with a P2 finish in Sunday’s Pocono 350.

Last Week: No. 1
Overview: Hamlin continued his dominant run this weekend with a P2 finish in Saturday’s Pocono Organics 325. Then followed that up with a victory in Sunday’s Pocono 350. He took over the wins lead from Harvick — the previous day’s winner.
