Tamorrion Terry: The Seminoles’ Next Breakout Player
Tamorrion Terry will quickly become a household name amongst Florida State fans. The freshman wide receiver showed out in the annual Garnet and Gold Spring Game back on April 14. With FSU losing Auden Tate to the NFL, the Seminoles need an emerging pass-catcher to step up on the offensive side. Terry can provide that boost to the passing game that Florida State needs to improve their passing statistics from a season ago.
It seems as if every season the Seminoles have a versatile receiver ignite and contribute heavily to the passing attack. For the past few seasons, Tate became the emerging star in the receiving corps. Heading into 2018, however, that versatile star is still in question. Terry quickly made his name known during the Spring Game, and looked like the next best receiver for the Noles. His dominant spring has allowed Terry to step into the spotlight. This is a guy that Seminoles fans should definitely keep an eye on. Amongst the other talented freshman players that FSU has, Tamorrion Terry will prove to be a star in Tallahassee.
Florida State produces star receivers that eventually find themselves playing on Sundays. As with every other college football player, this is Terry’s dream. If he can showcase his talents and emerge as the Seminoles’ #1 receiver for the next few seasons, I would expect him to play in the NFL in a few years.
But for now, Tamorrion Terry will prove to Seminole fans that he is the real deal. Coach Taggart has a tremendous receiver on his roster that can quickly contribute and make the passing game electric and bring energy to the fans.
