New Head Coach Alex Golesh Brings Hope to University of South Florida Football Team

New Head Coach Alex Golesh is bringing hopeful energy to the University of South Florida football team as they prepare for their upcoming spring game. Practices began on March 6 for players, and Coach Golesh is already making a positive impact on the team. Before joining USF, Golesh was the Offensive Coordinator at the University of Tennessee.

In only week two of practices, players are already speaking highly of Golesh. Safety player Matthew Hill has praised the coach for his high standards and no-nonsense approach. Coach Golesh himself has expressed his goal of teaching and holding players accountable, with the ultimate aim of helping them succeed on and off the field.

The new Defensive Coordinator coach, Todd Orlando, is also impressing players. Safety player Jayden Curry has praised Orlando’s leadership and work ethic.

Last season, the Bulls only achieved one win, losing 11 out of 12 games played and all eight games within the AAC Conference. However, the team is looking to turn things around with a hopeful outlook for the new season under Golesh’s leadership.

The spring football game will take place on Friday, April 14 at Corbett Stadium in Tampa. With a new head coach and renewed energy, the USF football team is ready to show what they’re made of during the upcoming season.
