Michigan Making Waves on 2024 Recruiting Trail with Commitments and Top Prospects

by Larry Riggs

Michigan continues to make progress on the recruiting trail as they picked up a Crystal Ball prediction for 2024 four-star offensive lineman Andrew Sprague. Standing at an imposing 6-foot-8, Sprague is a perfect fit for Michigan’s 2024 class, as the Kansas City native is a talented young prospect who would be a perfect blindside protector at the college level.

Elsewhere, the Wolverines are also in the mix for 2024 four-star wide receiver I’Marion Stewart. After visiting Michigan, Stewart told EJ Holland of On3 that the Wolverines are currently at the top of his list. According to Stewart, Michigan has shown him the most love and interest out of any school he has visited. During his trip to Ann Arbor, Stewart had the opportunity to speak with coaches Bellamy and Harbaugh, which only further cemented his strong interest in the program.

While much of the recruiting attention this week has been on five-star quarterback prospect Jadyn Davis, who is set to announce his commitment soon, Michigan is quietly building a strong class. With commitments from Sprague and other talented young prospects, the Wolverines are well on their way towards a successful 2024 recruiting campaign.

Overall, Michigan is making some impressive strides in the recruiting game, and it will be interesting to see how they continue to build on their successes in the coming weeks and months. With the commitment of Davis set to bolster an already strong class, it’s clear that the Wolverines are a team to watch on the recruiting trail.
