Four-star offensive line recruit Jason Zandamela has been offered a scholarship by the Georgia Bulldogs, according to reports. Although favored to commit to the Florida State Seminoles, Zandamela has plenty of suitors across the country. Playing high school football for Clearwater Academy International in Clearwater, Florida, the 6-foot-3, 285-pound interior offensive lineman has a massive 6-foot-11 wingspan which is sure to have attracted interest from several college football programs.

Zandamela is currently ranked as the No. 218 recruit in the class of 2024, with an impressive record that has seen him rise through the ranks. Sitting at No. 13 for the interior offensive line prospect and No. 36 in Florida, Zandamela is bound to cause excitement in whichever program he chooses.

It’s been announced that Zandamela plans to play in the 2024 Under Armour All-American Game, and with his burgeoning talent, it’s no surprise that some of the leading programs in the country are showing interest.

What makes Zandamela an exciting prospect is the fact that he is a former rugby player, who spent his childhood in Mozambique before moving to the United States. It’s thought that his rugby background has helped him develop an aggressive playing style that has impressed scouts across the country.

Zandamela was understandably delighted to receive an offer from the University of Georgia, via his Twitter account. The Bulldogs have had plenty of success on the football field and would make an excellent choice for Zandamela if he wants to continue his winning ways. However, with interest from several programs, it remains to be seen which path he will take.
