No disrespect to Kirby, but that’s SABAN’s defense. Kirby executed it to perfection, and has done a great job adding his touches and adapting it to his personnel, but the base defense was Nick’s.
Fully agree. My argument with @Pollack47 was that Saban has no problem hiring someone that has never been a DC.
That was 13 years ago. Saban was younger. He's towards the end of his career, I dont see him wanting to spend the time to train a guy.
