It's a sad day every year. There was a guy from my hometown that was in those barracks when they got destroyed. I went to school with his younger sister. Back in that day, there were no computers or cell phones. It was nearly 2 weeks before they found out if he was even alive. I was a Senior in HS when this happened. I was talking to The USMC recruiter within 3 weeks of the bombing. When all was said and done, my senior class had 9 guys that joined the Corps. They attacked one of ours from this small town in South Georgia. We felt like it was an attack on us.

NEVER FORGET.
