QBs
Top Plays
Caleb Williams $10,500
Shedeur Sanders $9,500
Quinn Ewers $8,700
Taulia Tagovailoa $8,700
Drew Allar $8,500
• Caleb Williams is extremely expensive, he’s almost unaffordable but if you can manage to get him in your lineup I expect him to have 35+ points. A lot of people will shy away from Shedeur this week after seeing how bad his O-Line was vs Oregon and possibly with him being without Weaver (Hunter is also out) which could make him a good contrarian play. The best plays this week could actually be Ewers, Tagovailoa and Allar, all three have favorable matchups and you don’t have to break the bank for them.
Best Value Plays
Seth Henigan $8,000
Jalon Daniels $7,800
Cade Klubnik $7,500
Hudson Card $6,600
Taylen Green $6,200
• Henigan and Green will faceoff vs each other this week and both are capable of big games. Henigan is averaging 25.8 FPPG and he’s more of a gunslinger. Green is averaging 16.6 FPPG but he has that Dual Threat ability that makes him dangerous. Cade Klubnik is a player I’m expecting to fly under the radar and be low owned which gives me some interest in him to get different from the field. Hudson Card is averaging 19.4 FPPG and has a matchup vs an Illinois Secondary that hasn’t impressed me.
Longshot Plays
Graham Mertz $5,900
Luke Altmyer $5,700
Sam Jackson V $5,500
• It’s slim pickings here this week but I’ve found three intriguing plays. Mertz and Florida travel into Kentucky and he’s averaging 16.7 FPPG, for 5.9K you’d be happy with close to 20 points. Luke Altmyer has been an INT machine but he has talent and will probably be less than 1% owned. Cal currently has an open QB competition but if Sam Jackson V is the starter I love his matchup vs ASU.
RBs
Top Plays
Blake Corum $8,300
Jaydn Ott $8,100
Marshawn Lloyd $7,600
• Corum is averaging 23.5 FPPG and Michigan once again has a favorable matchup vs Nebraska. Jaydn Ott has an outstanding matchup vs Arizona State but check the injury report to make sure he’s fully healthy before you the game starts. I believe USC scores 49 or more points vs Colorado and Marshawn Lloyd could easily find the end multiple times in this game.
Best Value Plays
Nicholas Singleton $7,100
Ashton Jeanty $6,800
Blake Watson $6,500
Cam Skattebo $6,400
Jonathon Brooks $6,200
Will Shipley $5,900
Raheim Sanders $5,600
• If Sanders plays this week this is the cheapest you will ever get him but make sure you check the injury report. Jeanty is an EXCELLENT player who’s averaging 35.6 FPPG which is incredible, if Holani is out or limited I want a lot of shares of Jeanty. Like I said last week if you can get Will Shipley for $5.9K you have to play him, he’s too good of a talent. Blake Watson at $6,500 is a play I’m big on this week. He’s averaging 28.1 FPPG this season and you don’t have to break the bank for him.
Longshot Plays
Phil Mafah $4,800
Jaylin Lucas $4,600
• DraftKings was harsh this week on pricing, there’s not much longshot value for RBs at all. Mafah is averaging 13.1 FPPG and he’s always capable of finding the endzone. Lucas is a player I mentioned a few weeks ago and he went off for 25+ points. I expect Indiana to be trailing to Maryland which could lead to more targets for Lucas.
WRs/TEs
Top Plays
Evan Stewart $7,200
Dorian Singer $6,800
Xavier Weaver $6,800
Eric McAlister $6,700
Jimmy Horn Jr $6,600
Xavier Worthy $6,500
• None of these WRs are outrageously priced this week, the biggest question is which one or two do I play? I like Dorian Singer to bounce back this week after a disappointing game vs ASU. If Weaver misses the USC game I’d have a lot of shares of Jimmy Horn Jr as he would vault to the Buffs WR1. Xavier Worthy is a great value at 6.5K and I’d be looking to stack him with Ewers. Eric McAlister is a player who could be overlooked with so many big names around him, he’s averaging 18.5 FPPG and he’s an excellent contrarian play.
Best Value Plays
Brenden Rice $6,400
Zachariah Branch $6,100
KeAndre Lambert Smith $6,100
Roc Taylor $6,100
Roman Wilson $5,900
Deion Burks $5,700
Brock Bowers $5,400
AD Mitchell $5,200
• I expect USC to have a big day on Offense so Rice & Branch are players I want to sprinkle into my lineup. If I play Drew Allar at QB he’s a must stack with Lambert-Smith who’s averaging 17.7 FPPG. Deion Burks has been phenomenal for Purdue and he has the athleticism to break off a long TD Pass, I’ll be stacking him with Hudson Card.
Longshot Plays
Ja’Tavion Sanders $4,700
Michael Harrison $4,500
Jalin Conyers $4,400
Oscar Delp $3,700
• DraftKings is starting to price up Ja’Tavion Sanders but he’s still an excellent value at 4.7K in a game that could be higher scoring. My favorite longshot play this week is Michael Harrison and he’s an even better play if Xavier Weaver doesn’t play.
