● Takeaways
• Clemson might not use the portal but Dabo is still thriving in HS Recruiting. This 2025 class is on pace to be the Tigers best since 2021. It consists of ELITE DLs and really good DBs.
• FSU is on pace to have their best class in the last five years. This 2025 class consist of very good Offensive & Defensive Linemen. 5 star OT Solomon Thomas could play immediately next season.
• Notre Dame has ELITE DBs in this 2025 class and their loaded at CB. This whole class is very solid and consist of twelve 4 stars and nine 3 stars.
• Miami is loaded at Linebacker in this 2025 class and also has really good CBs. Elite OL Seuseu Alofaituli is a fantastic addition for Mario Cristobal.
• UNC is doing an excellent job recruiting in Georgia with 5 of their 12 commits being from GA. This class is led by elite OT Alex Payne.
• SMU is on pace to have their best Recruiting class in program history. 10 of their 19 commits are from Texas so they’re doing a great job keeping top talent home.
• Virginia Tech has prioritized recruiting in the state of VA and it’s paying off. 11/15 commits are from VA and that includes commitments from elite WRs Micah Matthews & Matthew Outten and LB Brett Clatterbaugh is also staying home.
• Stanford has 18 commits and two 4 stars. WR JonAnthony Hall is the prized recruit of the class and QB Bear Bachmeier has potential to be a really good starting ACC QB.
• Georgia Tech is doing a phenomenal job recruiting the state of GA. The Yellow Jackets have prioritized keeping top talent home and 14/20 commits are from GA. GT has a really good RB & DB haul in 2025.
• NC State only has one 4 star commit but they always do a great job at developing so I’m not concerned. One player I believe has potential to be a 4 star is CB Cam Strong, really good player.
• Manny Diaz has a 86.33 AVG Recruit Ranking which is actually good for the Blue Devils. The question is can he develop these players into quality starters, we shall see. 4 star LB Cameron Smith will be an immediate impact player.
• Wake Forest doesn’t have any four stars but they have some solid players and one in particular that I really like is LB Tyler Houser.
• UVA ranks 13th of 18 ACC schools but the 86.27 AVG is actually their best since 2021. The class is led by two DBs I really like in Christopher Spence and Davin Chandler.
• Pitt has one 4 star commit in Safety Elijah Dotson and OT Shep Turk has size & potential. Unfortunately this AVG Recruit Ranking would make this Panthers class the worst since 2020.
• Louisville is on pace to have their worst class since 2020 and they currently have ZERO 4 star commits by 247.
• Syracuse has 27 commitments, no 4 stars by 247 but the class would actually be their second best class all time I believe by AVG Recruit Ranking only behind the 2024 class.
• Boston College is 17th but the class is actually right around their five year average.
• Cal is on pace for their worst class in the last five years. You’d think they would be able to do better with so many top ranked recruits coming from California.
