Colorado Buffaloes Pursue Top-Ranked Wide Receiver for 2024 Season

Colorado Buffaloes in the Running for Highly-Ranked Wide Receiver

Ever since Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders took the reins at the University of Colorado, recruiting has been on the upswing for the Buffaloes. This momentum continues with the announcement that they’re in the running for 2024 four-star wide receiver Rico Scott.

Scott, who hails from Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, announced his top six schools. The list includes Georgia, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Alabama, and the Buffaloes. Already having visited Penn State multiple times, future trips to Tennessee and Georgia are on the schedule for Scott, though nothing has been planned for Colorado yet.

Standing at six feet and 185 pounds, Scott would be a great addition to the Buffaloes’ ranks. Known for his explosiveness, Scott is expected to start out as a slot receiver. This would add another weapon to an already impressive offensive line under Coach Prime.

If Colorado can lure Scott to their program, it would be a huge win for the Buffaloes on the recruiting front. Not only would it help secure a top prospect for the future but it would also help continue the program’s growth alongside Coach Prime. Stay tuned to see where Scott ends up committing as we approach the 2024 college football season.
