The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office reported detecting the unmistakable odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Upon searching the car, officers discovered a substantial amount of marijuana, a set of scales, a loaded handgun, and a significant sum of cash. Both Mitchell and Lewis were taken into custody. In addition to the possession charge, Lewis faces a charge for carrying a concealed firearm without a permit.
