There aren’t many good things about the off-season and waiting for college football, but there are a few gems. Unless you’re Oregon, the alternative uniform craze has slowed down some. Some people are still crazy to see their favorite teams in a different look (minus Alabama).
Whether it’s NBA teams in college football or MLB teams in NFL jerseys, sometimes it’s fun to see things a little differently. Hopefully, this will be one of those gems for you as you await news of fall camp. To finish the month of April, we are going to bring you different helmet concepts. Today is dedicated to the Big Ten Conference. Go ahead and give it a look while and leave a comment below on your opinions. All of the art you see below is from our graphic designer, Mac Mayhew.

Penn State “NEO”
So what do you guys think about these Big Ten Helmet concepts? Personally, my favorites are Nebraska and Wisconsin. The Wisconsin throwback looks Barry Alvarez approved. Do you think that Penn State would ever go for something other than plain white, or Michigan actually have a logo of any sort on their helmet? So go ahead, join the Fifth Quarter community, and get ready for another set of concept helmets from a different conference!
Leave a comment below on what your favorite helmet is, or if you have an idea for another team’s helmet – you idea could be just the inspiration we use for other teams!
