What we all witnessed Friday night was one of the best Quarterback’s in college football displaying his athletic dominance over the Florida Gators. He had 353 Total Offensive yards as he led the Noles to their first win over Florida since 2017. Jordan Travis has consistently been the guy for Florida State all season long. He has led the Noles to their first possible ten win season since 2016. When talking about Heisman trophy candidates in 2023 if Travis decides to return he deserves to be one of the top guys mentioned. Jordan Travis for Heisman should be a hot topic of discussion this offseason.

I would compare this clip to anyone’s best play in the country and would choose this. The plays Travis is able to make is an enigma, especially on his feet. You could also say that he is the most improved player in the country from the start of his career all the way to the present. He also plays his best when it counts. We all know the best players bring their best in the last month of the regular season. His November stats for the second year in a row back that up. Jordan Travis in the Month of November
- 891 Total Offensive Yards
- 53 Completions on 79 Attempts
- 91.75 Average QB Rating
- 1 Interception
Jordan Travis versus other Well Known QB’s
Look at the quarterback in the middle, it’s 2021 Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young. Travis has similar numbers to him, if you added in total yards they are virtually identical. I am not saying Jordan Travis is a better pro prospect than Bryce Young but he deserves similar respect in the collegiate sphere. I’ve included Stetson Bennett as well since he is leading the #1 team in America and on some Heisman watch list. We all know the Heisman can be the award for great players on the best team. The Noles and Jordan Travis will be the talk of college football this offseason. Prepare to see him on all the Heisman watch list leading into the 2023 season.
