The college football world is taking notice of the Florida State Seminoles’ efforts on the football field as of late where they have outscored Georgia Tech, Miami and Syracuse by a combined 124-22. In the most recent College Football Playoff rankings, released on Monday night, the Seminoles were ranked No. 19. They are now considered as the highest ranked team in the state of Florida (the only other state of Florida team is the UCF Knights who are ranked No. 20). This is the highest FSU has been ranked since 2016 (in the CFP Poll).
Next Game: LOUISIANA
Mike Norvell and company are riding a three-game winning streak and will be facing off against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns this Saturday in the friendly confines of Doak Campbell Stadium in a sleepy noon kickoff on ESPN3.
Given that the Seminoles have their arch-rival Florida Gators on the docket for the next weekend, they cannot afford to overlook the upset-minded Ragin’ Cajuns who will be looking to achieve their sixth victory of the season to become bowl eligible.
